My photo used for the Project New Day fashion show ad ran double truck in the 274-page July issue of Albuquerque the Magazine that just hit the news stands. For those of you in the region you can get it at Barnes & Nobel, Borders, etc. To be honest, I had a bit of a panic attack when I did the CMYK conversion before it went to print, because the green dress lost it's tonal vibrance. So an emergency call to Nick proved to be a life-saver because he coached me through working out the problems of the color conversion. Turns out I was very impressed with how the print came out.
By the way, press conversion is a whole other ball game. I think the Slickforce team is working on an instructional DVD for that whole process, but I'm not sure when it will come out.
It's such a fun thing to see your own work in full-page, but I have to say the grandeur of a double-page spread ranks up there with finding money in the street! :p
Unfortunately, this bad cell phone pic doesn't do any good for the quality of the image, but you get the idea.

Man that spread look so hot to me. I always wonder what it would be like to make a double spread and to actually see it brought to life. I must confess, when it come to cmyk, I just export it as a .pdf and the setting say for high quality print and I leave it that way and just export it. But I ever seen the product printed for a mag or anything, just for a cd cover. But I know its more to it then just that to get maximum quality. But congrats to your double spread and to many more in the future.

Congrats man, and good idea for the shot! It fits well in the lay out. In year book every thing had to be in CMYK, its a pain editing something in prophoto rgb then converting it and having a few colors wayy off or seeing the proof and it being off and not sure how its going to be in the actual yearbook haha So I kinda know where your coming from with that.

I was happy when I saw my business cards. I'd probably pass out if I saw my work in a magazine (even though my ultimate goal is a magazine cover)...

Congrats...
